Piano Lives On . . .

On the way to the public library I had to take a detour due to a construction zone blocking my usual route. That's when I saw this surprising planter outside of a small downtown home.

I'm not sure if they have it tied down because they think someone might steal it or to keep it from falling over (more likely).

I just love the use of the moss!

Makes me wish I had an old piano, too!

I'm glad to see that you've made the jump into blogging. I think you'll do great.

When I stopped playing the instruments my parents always were after me to practice, I never considered making them into planters. Maybe my parents wouldn't have been so upset with me if they had seen a nice flowering plant growing out of my trumpet. No ... they probably would have been pretty torqued anyway.
