Sand in the City

Recently our city hosted a Sand in the City weekend. A couple of streets near the Farmer's Market were blocked off to vehicles and then the fun began.

First they started with a pile of sand . . .


And lots of hard work . . .


Resulting in this for our enjoyment . . .







I have to admit that I was a little confused by the rock formations on the roof of this house but maybe they ran out of sand . . .


There was even a place where the kids could play in the sand all they wanted . . .
